We switch back and forth between the two locations, so be sure to 'like' our Facebook page and follow us on Twitter so you will know where to find us.
How To Connect At Work And In Business As An Introvert And Actually Have Fun In The Process!

How To Connect At Work And In Business As An Introvert And Actually Have Fun In The Process!
Two-Week Lunch and Learn Tele-Course beginning April 26, 2012 with Connie Livingston
2 weeks, 2 hours $49. Click here to register>>
Time: Noon to 1:00 on the following dates: April 26 and May 3

Join Connie as she provides the tools and support to help you better connect with others. She is an introvert who has been self-employed for three years and has built a thriving consulting practice despite her shyness. When people meet her at networking events and meetings, they can't believe she's an introvert. She'll show you how to have fun as you connect with others..

In this practical, informative class, Connie shares the tools and approaches that have worked for her as she has grown her own business. Participate live from wherever you are by phone or listen to the Tele-course recording at a time that’s convenient for you.

Connie is also available to come to your business and provide a Lunch and Learn program for you and your staff on site.

Special bonus with this class: If you live in the Burlington, Vermont, area, you are invited to "test drive" your new-found connecting skills at a weekly networking event where Connie will be available to provide "laser coaching" and answer any questions that you have. No additional cost.

MY GOAL FOR YOU:

You walk away with confidence about networking

You feel relief that there’s a way to do marketing for your employer or business that’s fun and comfortable for you

The information supports you to really thrive in your work or business

This confidential setting, combined with Connie’s insightful recommendations, is an ideal way to take charge of your networking and marketing and masquerade as an extravert! If you:

feel uncomfortable in groups

need to network and connect with others to grow your business

are responsible at work for marketing or sharing information about your company with others

hate the idea of marketing

...then NOW is your chance to take the reins, get connected, and have fun!

You are invited to be in the Women of the Waterfront (WOW!) outdoor marketplace

We invite you to be a vendor at our first annual Women of the Waterfront (WOW!) outdoor
marketplace, because you are found to be a savvy woman entrepreneur!

WOW! will be part of the landlubber activities of the 35th Mayor’s Cup event. Our outdoor marketplace is created to showcase local talented women entrepreneurs who contribute unique, creative, and useful products that touch and inspire others. WOW! is also a fundraiser for much needed financial support for the Kent-Delord House Museum.

Your participation will give you access to not only a large local audience but also visitors from
other states and Canada. You will be supporting the Kent-Delord House Museum and your
community’s heritage.

For a modest fee of $45 and a donation of a product or gift certificate for a raffle prize, we will
provide you with a 10’ x 10’ space on our side lawn with beautiful views of Plattsburgh Bay on Lake
Champlain. Your space will also include one 6’ table with two chairs. We will be promoting the event
and your participation in various media (newspapers, radio, and posters). WOW! will be included in all
Mayor’s Cup PR coverage.

Set-up for all vendors is on Saturday from 7:30AM to 9:30AM. Please note: the show will end at
5PM. Vendors whose products may sell out prior to 5PM are encouraged to have informational
materials to hand out so customers can reach you later.

Vendor understands that once your application is accepted by the Event Committee, the fee is
non-refundable. Please include a thorough description of your products and photos of booth set-up, if
available. Vendors do not have exclusive rights to the sale of any particular item. However, the Event
Committee will make every effort to not award space to duplicate vendors, and this will be determined
on a “first come” basis. The decision of the Committee is final.

Vendor spaces are limited; we do suggest reserving your space early. Vendors may provide their
own attractive canopy shelter with proper business signage and adequate tie-downs. (We always
anticipate a bit of wind and tie-downs are suggested for safety purposes.) All food vendors must meet all
local regulations and all vendors must post any required permits and licenses. The show is held rain or
shine. A no-show from a vendor will result in no further invitations to future shows.

For questions or more information, please contact Pat at (518) 561-6571, or email wowatkdhm@yahoo.com. We are continuing to work on our online representation, http://www.womenofthewaterfront.webs.com. Please provide your email for updates.
Join The Healthy Home book group

Starting Tuesday, April 10, 2012, 7PM THE HEALTHY HOME book club!

Join The Healthy Home book group, starting April 10, 7:00-8:30 p.m. in downtown Burlington at the warm and homey Lille Fine Art Salon, One Lawson Lane, Suite 15.

In 6 sessions of illuminating exploration, this book takes the reader from room to room throughout the house, uncovering places that toxic chemicals lurk and offering solutions to detoxing your home, from the scented holiday candles on the mantle to the laundry detergent in the basement and antiperspirant in the medicine cabinet. Learn, laugh, discover, discuss, and transform your environment.

This book will surprise you!

“Consumers in Vermont can’t trust that the products we buy are safe. There are more than 80,000 chemicals used commercially in the United States and another 1,000 more are added each year. Yet, more than 90% of these chemicals have not been adequately tested for their impacts on human health. This is alarming, especially given the scientific evidence linking chemical exposure and diseases and disorders, including cancer and fertility problems.” VPIRG 6/16/11 email.
