Kat O'Neill's passion for working with small businesses was ignited before law school when she helped her husband Jeremy start his residential construction business in 2007. In 2015, Kat started her own new school law practice, Hatch Law & Consulting, PLC. Kat brings a blend of practical know how and legal expertise to her work, where she helps clients navigate the legal landscape of small business ownership. Kat believes that attorneys should speak plain English and be accessible and easy to work with. Kat also helps some of her clients with business strategy ideation.

Lynne Silva founded The Silva Group LLC in 2005 as a professional mergers & acquisitions/business brokerage advisory practice.  She plans and executes the successful sales of Vermont-based businesses and professional practices.  Services offered to business owners range from exit planning, business valuations and guidance in sales to employees to the management of external sales to national acquirers.

Annette Rexroad of Rex's Outrageous Road Crew Crunch

Annette Rexroad, MPH, PhD believes that we should all live a life that takes you from ordinary to outrageous. As an entrepreneur, mother & homeschooling parent, Annette spent the past decade balancing a growing business with a growing family alongside her husband & best friend, Rex. In 2015 they were presented with a once in a lifetime opportunity and sold their business, Rex’s Outrageous Road Crew Crunch, and now serve as the Founders, Innovation Team & Brand Ambassadors for the company.  She also serves on the Board of Directors of Road Crew Crunch & Legado. When not traveling, Annette lives in Essex Junction, Vermont with her husband, three active boys and two rescue dogs. 


Andrea Murray of Vermont Integrated Architecture PC

Andrea Murray, is an architect, planner, and LEED Accredited Professional who co-founded Vermont Integrated Architecture, PC (VIA) in 2011. VIA is an eight-person, full-service architecture and planning firm in Middlebury, Vermont. Andrea and the VIA team focus their professional energies on integrating sustainable and healthy design strategies into buildings and their respective communities. Andrea grew up in Rochester, Vermont and moved home in 2003. She lives in Middlebury with her husband, two children, and two dogs. She holds degrees in English and Textual Studies from Syracuse University and Architecture from the Pratt Institute
