These are the photos that show you at your best and draw more clients to your business. It is that thing on your ‘to do’ list that never seems to get done. An experienced portrait photographer who loves to collaborate with her clients and transform how they see themselves, Mary Claire is offering a $500 package at the special rate of $340 for WBON members. (for members outside of Chittenden County there would be a mileage charge at 55 cents a mile)

    The deal includes:
A pre-session consultation by phone, email, or in person

A location shoot at your business or favorite location, you choose.(It can be outdoors or indoors.) The session takes up to 2 hours. (Yes, you can come to the studio if you want, it’s just not as fun!)

A selection of up to 20 best raw photos from your session as selected by me (your decisions come next) These images would be on an online gallery for easy viewing.

From your selections....6 edited and retouched (but not unrealistically so) photos in the format you want, delivered on a DVD. Ready to be used on your web site, advertising, and in other promotional materials.

Call 802-434-2312 or email mccarroll@gmavt.net with questions. To see my work and learn more about me check out www.carrollphotos.com

HANDS Art Exhibit and Silent Auction at August First Bakery

As part of the "Full Circle Festival" celebration of aging, August First Bakery is pleased to host an art exhibit to benefit HANDS (Helping and Nurturing Diverse Seniors). Decorated wooden hands will adorn the walls during April with bid sheets available throughout the month. "We're happy to be part of a festival about healthy aging as we also spread the word about the need that some older Vermonters have regarding food," explained organizer Megan Humphrey. "Artists range in age from 2 to 94 so it's a fun show," she continued. August First Bakery hours are Monday-Friday, 7:30-5:00, and Saturday, 8:00-3:00.

HANDS works to close the gap in getting food to older Vermonters. For more information, please check the website at www.handsvt.org or Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/events/262029143964418/.

    Spread the Word!

Advertising campaigns start this week and include print, radio, television, social media, email blasts and more. WCAX did an amazing job on the our new commercial, keep an eye out for it! 95Triple X is doing an incredible amount of promotion for us and we have a wonderful presenting sponsor - Cedar Wood Natural Health Center.

This year the Expo will be held at the Champlain Valley Exposition in Essex Junction, in the Blue Ribbon Pavilion building. Set up Friday from 6-8pm or beginning at 7am on Saturday.

At the Expo the floor is cement - you may want to consider an area rug - not necessary, simply a suggestion. You will also need to bring your own table coverings this year.

The new location does offer more free parking, a larger space for growth, more promotional support and allows the Women's Expo to maintain the same rates as last year.

If you have any further needs or questions, shoot me an email and I will get back to you as soon as I can. You can also call my cell: 802-522-7245.

Thank you all, I am very proud to promote all of your great businesses. I look forward to seeing you soon,

    Kate Alberghini
